English: From "Mémoires concernant Christine Reine de Suède" I, page 386, published in 1751, written by Johan Arckenholtz. From page 386: "The entertainment lasted until the next morning, when this Princess, suddenly changing her clothes, ordered the Lords and ladies of the company to also take off the ornaments of their false Divinities, and it was at this time that she instituted the Order of Amarante, giving to those who were present a cipher of Diamonds composed of two A's reversed one inside the other in the middle of a laurel wreath, surrounded by a scroll, on which were written these words DOLCE NELLA MEMORIA."

À partir de la page 386: Le divertissement dura jusque'au lendemain matin, que cette Princesse changeant tout d'un coup d'habits, commanda aux Seigneurs & aux dames de la compagnie de quitter aussi les ornemens de leurs fausses Divinités, & ce fut pour lors qu'elle instituta l'Ordre de l'Amarante, donnant à ceux qui étoient présens une chiffre de Diamans composés de deux A renversés ainsi l'un dans l'autre au milieu d'une Couronne de laurier, entourée d'un rouleau, sur lequel il y avoit en écrit ces paroles DOLCE NELLA MEMORIA.
