English: The N. & G. Taylor Co. Tin Plate Plant in Cumberland, Maryland, USA in 1918.
N. & G. Taylor was founded in 1810, and is the oldest tin plating company in the United States. Its first factory was at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but in January 1900 it leased the shuttered tinplate plant of the Cumberland Steel & Tinplate Company, located in Cumberland, Maryland. It purchased the plant outright about 1914, and moved most of its operations there. N. & G. Taylor Co. was purchased in November 1929 by Corrigan, McKinney Steel.
