Description	Famous front page of the Daily Mail on 14 February 1997. The five men pictured were prosecuted in 1994 for the murder of Stephen Lawrence, and none were convicted. The Daily Mail explicitly called all five of them murderers and gave them instructions to sue if they believed that it was libellous. None of them ever took legal action over the headline and it helped sway public opinion against the suspects and the police.
