Summary

Description
English: The Mother Rudd Home is one of the oldest buildings in Lake County, Illinois. It served as a stagecoach stop, inn, tavern, dancehall, and post office. After the organization of the township in 1850, it was the official town hall. This is also where caucuses and elections took place.
