العربية: فسار إليه محمد، فدخل عليه في بيت ابن سويلم ورحب به وقال: ابشر ببلاد خير من بلادك، وابشر بالعز والمنعة فقال الشيخ: وأنا أبشرك بالعز والتمكين، وهذه كلمة (لا إله إلا الله) من تمسك بها وعمل بها ونصرها ملك بها البلاد والعباد، وهي كلمة التوحيد، وأول ما دعت إليه الرسل من أولهم إلى آخرهم.
English: Muhammad therefore set out to meet him. He entered his presence at the home of Ibn Suwaylim, welcomed him warmly, and said: "Rejoice, for you have come to a land better than your own; rejoice in honor and impregnable strength." The Sheikh replied: "And I, in turn, bring you glad tidings of honor and firm establishment. This is the word—'There is no god but Allah'—and whoever holds fast to it, acts in accordance with it, and champions it, shall thereby gain dominion over both lands and people. It is the word of Monotheism, and it is the very first message to which the Messengers called, from the very first among them to the very last." |
