English: This statue at the front of St. John's church, Ballybunion, County Kerry, Ireland, commemorates Mary Young (1836 - 1894), who financed the building of the church, and also of the Mercy Convent, Ballybunion. The inscription on the plinth reads "What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others remains immortal".
