Deutsch: Südostansicht des 469 Meter hohen Buchberges in der niederösterreichischen Markgemeinde Maria Anzbach mit der im Jahr 2004 neu errichteten, 22,5 Meter hohen Buchbergwarte. Am Fuß des Buchberges links die Ortschaft Burgstall und rechts die Ortschaft Oed.
Teilweise steht das Areal des Buchberges unter Denkmalschutz, weil Funde von Keramikscheiben auf eine Besiedlung des Hochplateaus von der ausgehenden Jungsteinzeit bis zur keltischen Periode hinweisen. Nach Ausgrabungen vermutet man, dass sich hier die größte urzeitliche Wallanlage des Wienerwaldes mit rund 350 bis 400 Meter Länge und etwa 150 Meter Breite befand. |
