English: LANC 1923 mourning flag, as described by Corneliu Zelea Codreanu in „For my legionaries”.
"[...] The cloth of these flags was black - a sign of mourning; in the center a round white spot, signifying our hopes surrounded by the darkness they will have to conquer; in the center of the white, a swastika, the symbol of antisemitic struggle throughout the world; and all around the flag, a band of the Romanian tricolor-red, yellow and blue. Professor Cuza had approved while in Bucharest the form of these flags [...]"
Română: Steag LANC de doliu, descris de Corenliu Zelea Codreanu în „Pentru legionari”.
„[...] Pânza acestor steaguri era neagră în semn de doliu; la mijloc o pată albă rotundă semnificând nădejdile noastre încercuite de întunericul pe care ele vor trebui să-l învingă; în mijlocul albului o zvastică, semnul luptei antisemite din întreaga lume, iar de jur-împrejurul steagului, tricolorul românesc [...]”
