Licensing

This file depicts currency issued by the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH). Banknotes and coins of the Convertible Mark (KM) may be reproduced only in accordance with the Decision on the conditions under which banknotes and coins of the Convertible Mark may be reproduced (“Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, No. 17/17). Unauthorized or misleading use of this file may be punishable under applicable counterfeiting and criminal laws.

Article 2.
(Reproduction of banknotes)


(2) Non-material reproduction of a banknote shall mean a publicly available (on websites or otherwise in electronic form) digital image of the entire banknote or any part thereof, or individual features of the banknote as defined by the regulations of the Central Bank on the basic features of banknotes.
(3) A reproduction of a banknote shall be considered unlawful if it may cause the public to mistake it for an original banknote.
(4) Reproduction of a banknote is not permitted if, by its appearance or in any other way, it harms the reputation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Central Bank, or the domestic currency, the Convertible Mark.
(5) A reproduction of a banknote shall be considered lawful (without risk of confusion) if it meets the following conditions:

b) in the case of non-material reproduction:
  1. the resolution of the digital image of the banknote, at its original size, does not exceed 72 dpi (dots per inch);
  2. the digital image of the banknote bears the word “SPECIMEN” diagonally, in a color clearly contrasting with the background, with a length of at least 75% of the reproduction and a height of at least 15% of its width.

Article 3.
(Reproduction of coins)


(2) A reproduction of coins shall be considered unlawful if it may cause the public to mistake it for original coins.
(3) Reproduction of coins is not permitted if, by its appearance or in any other way, it harms the reputation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Central Bank, or the domestic currency, the Convertible Mark.


For any material or non-material reproduction of banknotes and coins that does not meet the conditions set out in Articles 2 and 3 of this Decision, prior approval of the Central Bank must be obtained. This Decision does not apply to the reproduction or public display of voucher notes, banknotes, and coins issued prior to the establishment of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina is not the legal successor to either the National Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina or the National Bank of Republika Srpska.
