The Kaleidoscope Project at the 14th Street Bridge Operator’s Tower by Artist Mikyoung Kim. LED lighting to enhances the experience of the work at night. The lights remain on from 4pm to Midnight each night. The kaleidoscopic sculptures are constructed out of dichroic and reflective acrylic that create refracted light compositions at each window. The refurbishing of the Operator’s Tower is part of DDOT’s ongoing 14th Street Bridge Project. Commissioned by the DC Creates!
