Man siehet hier die dem Kaufmann Hr. Joh. Heinrich Muyschel gehörigen Gebäude, und hinter selben Kiepenholm in der Düna. Am Johannis Abend pflegt das gemeine Volk sich, und auch wohl sein Rindvieh, zu bekränzen. Lettische Weiber tanzen bekränzt durch die Straßen der Vorstadt, singen Volkslieder, gehn von Haus zu Haus, streuen Blumen u. setzen den Einwohnern Kränze auf."
