Object history
Notes One of the earliest known works of the artist. The work was his first painting exibited at the Paris Salon in 1875 and later at the Fifth Liverpool Autumn Exhibition of Modern Pictures, held at the Free Public Library and Museum in Liverpool. It also went by the title: The Curieuse Soubrette in a Painter's Studio.
