Це оголошення, ймовірно, було створене у середині 1990-х років після консультацій адміністрації поліклініки з Товариством «Просвіта» (раніше Товариством української мови імені Тараса Шевченка), Народним рухом України (РУХ) та правозахисною групою «Меморіал». English: A notice in a Lviv hospital: "We speak the Ukrainian language here." This notice was probably created in the mid-1990s at the Lviv policlinic hospital after the hospital's administration consulted Prosvita (previously the Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian Language Society), the People's Movement of Ukraine (РУХ, Rukh), and the "Memorial" human rights group. It contains a reference to the Law "On Languages in the Ukrainian SSR" of 28 October 1989 (misdated to '28.02.1989'), and paraphrases Article 2 in stating that 'the state language (...) is the Ukrainian language (...) in institutions and organisations' ("державною мовою (...) є українська мова [в] установ[ах] і організаці[ях]"), such as hospitals.
