Description
English: Cyclone Hal at peak intensity whilst performing a loop on April 14, 1978. This was taken using the VISSR imaging instrument onboard the GMS-1 geostationary satellite, the original image was taken in grayscale but was superimposed using NASA’s Blue Marble (2002) image through a digital editing software to give a “true-color” effect and make storm structure features easier to see and identify.
