Source 岩井秀一郎 『多田駿伝　―「日中和平」を模索し続けた陸軍大将の無念』 (Amazon Kindle版) 小学館、2017、位置No.2766より。左は土肥原賢二 陸軍大将（1941年（昭和16年）4月に陸軍大将に親任、1945年（昭和20年）9月23日にA級戦犯容疑者としてGHQに逮捕され、1948年（昭和23年）12月にA級戦犯として刑死（秦郁彦 編著 『日本陸海軍総合事典』 (第2版) 東京大学出版会、2005年、107頁、主要な陸海軍人の経歴 - 陸軍 - 土肥原賢二））。右は多田駿 陸軍大将（1941年（昭和16年）7月に陸軍大将に親任、1948年（昭和23年）12月に死去）。よって、この写真の撮影時期は、土肥原と多田の双方が陸軍大将であり、かつ行動が自由であった時期、即ち昭和16年7月から昭和20年9月の間となる。
