Por sugestão do ministro andreazza.no governo de Nilo Coelho, e convidado por Plinio Pacheco, tive oportunidade de criar escultura para serem colocados em encontros rodoviários, aproveitando os operários que trabalhavam nas muralhas da Nova Jerusalém tema seria figuras populares, como a mulher rendeira e a mulher batendo no pilão que estão em Petrolina. A figura que foi levada para lagoa grande homenageia um desses beatos que por vezes surgem no sertão a exemplo de Antônio Conselheiro. |
