Description
English: Cartoon from the newspaper El Loro (1881) about the "Turno" between the two major political parties of the Bourbon Restoration in Spain, conservatives and liberals. In the upper image, it is the liberal leader Práxedes Mateo Sagasta who serves the table of the conservative government presided by Antonio Cánovas del Castillo, while in the lower image it is Cánovas who does the same with the liberal government presided by Sagasta.
Español: Caricatura del periódico El Loro (1881) sobre el «turno pacífico» entre los dos grandes partidos de la Restauración borbónica en España, conservadores y liberales. En la imagen superior es el líder liberal Práxedes Mateo Sagasta el que sirve la mesa del gobierno conservador presidido por Antonio Cánovas del Castillo, mientras que en la imagen inferior es Cánovas el que hace lo mismo con el gobierno liberal presidido por Sagasta.
