| Purpose of use |
To show the visual effects used to create the character Colossus, as explained in the article, by comparing a finished image from the film with an image taken on the film's set which shows the stand-in actor in a motion-capture suit that was later used as reference for the final computer-generated character seen in the film screenshot. The latter also gives an idea of the design of the digital character and shows some of the digital work used to alter the background of the scene depicted, both of which the article also attempts to explain to readers. |
