For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild Spremberg 25.1.67 Berliner "Telespargel" schießt in den Himmel. Unser Foto gewährt einen Blick vom Fernsehturm, der gegenwärtig eine Höhe von 193 Metern erreicht hat. Für das Jahr 1967 haben sich die Bauarbeiter des Fernsehturms die Fertigstellung des Turmschaftes bis zu einer Höhe von 248,75 m und des Eistellers von 20 Meter Durchmesser vorgenommen. Weitere Aufgaben sind die Montage des Spezialkranes (Leipziger Kirow-Werke), mit dessen Hilfe die Montage der Kugel in ca. 200 bis 230 Meter Höhe erfolgen wird. 1969 wird der Fernseh- und UKW-Turm seine endgültige Höhe von 361,50 m erreichen. Der 43jährige Monteur Johannes Kautz (Kautz) gehört zu den Männern vom Turm, die als erste den weiten Blick über die Hauptstadt der DDR, Berlin, haben. Siehe auch Foto F0125-05-1N |
