ADN-ZB/Archiv, Faschistisches Deutschland 1933-1945 Berlin: Blick auf die Gartenfront der Neuen Reichskanzlei, die nach den Entwürfen des 1937 zum Generalbauinspektor für die Reichshauptstadt ernannten Albert Speer entstanden und am 9. Januar 1939 mit dem Neujahrsempfang für das diplomatische Korps eingeweiht wurde. Der Bau bildete mit seinen 420 Räumen eine Element des faschistischen Konzepts, Berlin zur "neuen Welthauptstadt" auszugestalten. Aufn.
