| Description |
English: The British coastal steamship Kung Wo at Shanghai, China, in the 1920s. She was built in Hong Kong in 1921 for the Yangtze river service of the English: Indo-China Steam Navigation Company Ltd. She reached Singapore in December 1941 and was requisitioned as a minelayer. In passage from Singapore to Australia, Kung Wo was damaged by a Japanese air attack on 14 February 1942 off Banka Island by Japanese aircraft, and later sank. |
