Deutsch: Das Gemälde wurde am 22. März 2005 im Festsaal des Berliner Rathauses vom Berliner Bürgermeister Klaus Wowereit enthüllt, nachdem die Stiftung Stadtmuseum das 1992 restaurierte Bild der Senatskanzlei überlassen hat. 124 Jahre zuvor fand die erste Enthüllung des Gemäldes statt, denn es hing auch von 1881 bis 1945 im Festsaal.
English: The painting was unveiled on March 22, 2005, in the ceremonial hall of Berlin City Hall by the mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit, after the City Museum Foundation had transferred the painting, restored in 1992, to the Senate Chancellery. The painting had first been unveiled 124 years earlier, as it had also hung in the ceremonial hall from 1881 to 1945.
