The August 1998 issue of Beacon. Believe it or not - Four Colour Separation whereby Full Colour printing could be achieved could not be done in Darjeeling and all colour contents had to be sent to Delhi for four colour separation and its conversion into photographic plate. With no personal computers to work on Barun Roy and Subash Sthapit after working almost for 8 eight hours continuously were able to achieve for the first time in Darjeeling Hills four colour separation at the dingy apartment of Barun Roy. This issue was published in Darjeeling and was the first time where colour plates were produced in Darjeeling itself |
