Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	The image is used to identify the currency in question, and to assist recognition of it.

Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	It only needs to be used on pages about current and historical UK bank notes.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The image itself has zero commercial value; the value of a banknote is as a physical object. The only value of the image would be in using it to create a counterfeit note. To mitigate this it has been downscaled (~3x) and is clearly marked as specimen. It would be pointless to use this image to create a counterfeit anyways as the Bank of England freely provides far better specimen images.
