English: Cape Burhan with Shaman Rock, Shamanka Rock. The rock formation is made of white marble, dolomite, limestone, with inclusions of garnet, quartz and graphite. It is of great importance in the history of Siberian and Buryat shamanism and Tibetan Buddhism. Olkhon Island. Lake Baikal, Russia.
Русский: Мыс Бурхан со скалой Шаманка, Шаман-скалой. Один из главных символов/образов Байкала. Скала сложена из белого мрамора, доломита, известняка, с проблесками граната, кварца и графита. С разных ракурсов и при разном освещении, как камень-хамелеон, она отсвечивает разными цветами и оттенками, мерцаниями. Имеет важное значение в истории сибирского и бурятского шаманизма и тибетского буддизма. Остров Ольхон. Озеро Байкал, Россия.
