Description	This is a small shape roughly resembling a heptagon, composed of seven segments in the colors of the spectrum. It was designed as the logo of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network and for use by the Autism rights movement. If copyright or trademark is held, it would be by ASAN.

Use in article (WP:NFCC#7)	Autism rights movement
Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	It is a symbol chosen by autistic people to represent the autistic rights movement. It is also the symbol of one of the premier autistic rights advocacy groups.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	It's the logo of a specific group which has come to prominence as one of the premier autistic self-advocacy organizations.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	This symbol can be placed in the autism rights movement article as a counterpoint to the prominently displayed puzzle ribbon. It should also replace the logo on the Autistic Self Advocacy Network article since that still has the old logo.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	I have personal permission from ASAN president Ari Ne'eman to use this on Wikipedia. Therefore he obviously doesn't think this is going to hurt his commercial opportunities. I'm not sure how to present the email.

I wrote to Ne'eman on May 18, 2012 asking for permission to use the symbol in a userbox, but also stating that I wanted to change the fact that the puzzle ribbon is the only acknowledged symbol of autism on Wikipedia. He replied promptly giving permission.
