Description
English: U.S. Army Air Forces Douglas-Long Beach B-17F-50-DL Flying Fortress (s/n 42-3352), "Virgin's Delight", 410th BS, 94th BG, 8th AF, during raid on Marienburg, Germany, in October 1943. It was later shot down by fighters and crashed into the North Sea off the coast of Germany on 29 November 1943 during a mission to Bremen, Germany. 8 KIA, 2 POW (MACR 1186).
