However, the soldiers are all wearing winter coats which would not have been issued during August, the hottest summer month in Tehran. Original caption: "
Loyal to the shah, Iranian troops guarded the royal palace in Teheran against Premier Mossadegh's followers in the course of riots earlier this year. A threat of violence Sunday prompted the shah to flee the country. His regime was reinstated after a new upheaval Tuesday.
