Auf dem höchsten Punkt in der Mitte des Geländes wurde der quadratische Keep angelegt – überragt von vier Türmchen an den Ecken des Hauptbaus und verstärkt durch vier vorspringende Türme, von denen nur drei erhalten blieben. Auf dem Foto rechts steht der fast 40 m hohe „Yellow Steeple“ (gelber Turm), Rest eines ehemaligen Augustinerklosters und Wahrzeichen der Stadt Trim. |
