(Choose: Bias Select All biases; Location Select United States; Time Frame Custom; Start Date January 1991; End Date December 2024; Submit; Click menu above and to left of chart and choose Download as CSV; sum months in each year.)
  • Source explains: "The offense counts in the Hate Crime line chart have been updated to be consistent with the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting Program offense counting rules. Previously, crimes against persons offenses were counted as one for each offense type (e.g., one aggravated assault offense for an incident in which multiple victims were assaulted). The updated chart reflects one crime against persons offense for each victim (i.e., the number of aggravated assault offenses will match the number of victims of aggravated assault). Crimes against property and crimes against society are unaffected by this update."
  • Technical note: most SVG code was automatically generated by the "Line charts" spreadsheet linked at User:RCraig09/Excel to XML for SVG. Additions and adjustments were made in a text editor.
