中文：赤鱬，中国古代传说兽类。载《山海经》（南山经首）：英水出焉，南流注于即翼之澤。其中多赤鱬，其狀如魚而人面，其音如鴛鴦，食之不疥。 English: The chiru (赤鱬; "red ru fish") is described in the Nan Shan Jing ("Classic of the Southern Mountains") as a human headed fish, found in the Qingqushan (青丘山 "Green-Hills Mountains") in the Pool-of-Yi (Yì zhī zé 翼之澤; "Carp-Wings Lake"), making noise like mandarin duck. Eating it purportedly prevents scabies/itchiness. A close but inferior copy of this woodcut occurs in Wu Renchen's illustrated edition of 1667.[1] |
