A casual social get together for Wikimedia enthusiasts, where we will...
- Have a bite or a drink at the Exeter Phoenix Café Bar – alcohol consumption is completely optional.
- Chat about Wikipedia and any other topics we fancy.
You can expect to meet some keen Wikipedians, but the gathering is open to anyone interested in finding out more about Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects. Everyone is welcome, even if you are completely new to the projects and want to learn more.
Please also invite any Wikimedia people you know from Exeter and surroundings – spread the word!

Apologies
edit- trains being difficult.©Geni (talk) 17:35, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
- What Geni said - the line's closed between Didcot and Swindon, also I believe that the sea wall breach at Teignmouth is having a knock-on effect for trains between London and Exeter. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 14:47, 24 January 2026 (UTC)
- Thought I'd leave a quick after-the-fact apology for being unavailable at the last moment yesterday. Jr8825 • Talk 06:44, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
Location
editThe Exeter Phoenix is a multi-use arts venue in Exeter.
Address: Gandy Street, Exeter, EX4 3LS (OpenStreetMap)(Google Maps)
Getting there
editThe Exeter Phoenix venue is very close to the city centre. It is within walking distance of both Exeter Central railway station (200m) and the principal Exeter St Davids railway station (1.1km). The walk from St Davids is clearly signposted "To City Centre" from the station forecourt.
It is also very close to two bus stops (Central Station and Queen Street) for Exeter residents.
