It controls two newspapers (Assabah, l'Economiste), one radio station (Atlantic Radio) and one journalism school (ESJC).
The main owner of Groupe Eco-Medias is businessman Zouheir Bennani.
He is the founder of supermarket company Label Vie, also known as Carrefour Maroc. He is also the founder of real estate company Aradei Capital.

After the death of Hassan II the couple Bourrut-Dilami increased their share in the company, controlling today the majority stake. editIn 2020, businessman Zouheir Bennani and his associate Nader Mawlawi purchased 70% of Groupe Eco-Media[11]. Bennani is one of the most famous businessman in Morocco. He is known as the founder of supermarket company Label Vie-Carrefour Maroc.
