Solenangis impraedicta is an orchid that was described in early 2024.[3] It was found in central Madagascar[2] where it is pollinated by hawkmoths.[4] Scientists noted how this orchid has an extremely long nectar spur,[5] measuring in at about 33 cm (13 in) long.[6][7]

editIt is likely pollinated by hawk moths.[8] The most likely pollinator species are Xanthopan praedicta and Coelonia solani.[6][2]
