Miron Ben Ruina (Hebrew: מירון בן רוינה; born March 25, 1998) is an Israeli-Finnish professional basketball player for Hapoel Tel Aviv of the Ligat HaAl and the EuroLeague.[1] He plays the power forward and center positions.[2][3][4]

Biography

Ruina was born in Helsinki, Finland.[5] His father is Israeli, and his mother is Finnish. He moved to Israel with his family shortly after he was born.[4] He is 6 ft 8 in (203 cm) tall, and weighs 230 pounds (100 kg).

Professional career

He played for Hapoel Kfar Saba (2016–17), Hapoel Galil Elyon (2017–19), and Elitzur Yavne (2019–20).[6]

Ruina played for Hapoel Eilat in the Israeli Basketball Premier League from 2020 to 2022.

On July 13, 2022, he signed with Hapoel Gilboa Galil of the Israeli Basketball Premier League.[7]
