Jack Roth is an American journalist, author, and documentary film producer. His work has included magazine editing, nonfiction writing, and documentary filmmaking focused on historical controversies and unexplained phenomena. He is a co-founder of the documentary production company j3FILMS.[1]
Early life and education
editRoth studied business administration at Boston University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree, and later received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Central Florida.
Career
editJournalism and editing
editRoth worked in magazine publishing in Florida and served as an editor at Orlando Magazine. He later became editor of FM Magazine, a publication of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, where his work received multiple Florida Magazine Association Charlie Awards for writing and editorial excellence.[2]
He also contributed to Pegasus Magazine, the alumni publication of the University of Central Florida.[3]
From 2017 to 2018, Roth served as editor of i4 Business and SpaceCoast Business magazines, where he oversaw editorial content and planning.[4]
Earlier in his career he worked as a communications specialist for the YMCA of Central Florida and as a career advisor in creative writing and journalism at Full Sail University.[5]
Writing
editRoth is the author of several nonfiction books exploring historical events and unexplained phenomena, including Ghost Soldiers of Gettysburg (2014) and Unknown Down (2016).
In 2022 he published Killing Kennedy: Exposing the Plot, the Cover-Up, and the Consequences, which examines alternative interpretations of the assassination of John F. Kennedy.[1]
Roth has discussed the book in several media appearances, including an interview on The Charlie Kirk Show.[6] He also appeared on Primetime with Jesse Watters on Fox News discussing the subject.[7]
Film production
editRoth is a partner in j3FILMS, a documentary production company founded in 2010 that produces films focused on paranormal topics and unexplained mysteries.[1]
Through the company he produced and wrote several films in the Extraordinary documentary series:

Roth & Sumple Storytellers
editSeparately, Roth and Jon Sumple operate under the Roth & Sumple Storytellers banner, where they develop scripted films and narrative projects. Their current development slate focuses on metaphysical and genre-driven storytelling, including the period western Etta, which is reported to be in advanced development.
