editIn 2012, Chartis received investment from Riordan, Lewis & Haden Equity Partners, marking its first institutional private equity backing.[3]
In 2019, the firm entered into a partnership with Audax Private Equity.
In 2024, Blackstone Inc. acquired a majority stake in Chartis, replacing Audax as the firm’s primary private equity partner.[4][5]
Acquisitions
editSince 2014, Chartis has expanded its capabilities through a series of acquisitions in healthcare consulting, analytics, communications, and technology advisory.
Key acquisitions include Aspen Advisors (2014), iVantage Health Analytics (2015), Oncology Solutions (2018), The Greeley Company (2019), Jarrard Inc. (2020), HealthScape Advisors (2024), and Healthlink Advisors (2025). These acquisitions expanded the firm’s service offerings in healthcare IT strategy, analytics, revenue cycle management, communications, payer consulting, and implementation services.[6][7][8][9][10][11]

In 2024, representatives of the center testified before the United States Senate Committee on Finance on issues affecting rural healthcare providers.[13][14]
The Chartis Center for Health Equity and Belonging was established in 2023 to conduct research and advisory work related to healthcare disparities and equity.
