Azeglio (Italian: [adˈdzɛʎʎo, adˈdzeʎʎo]; Piedmontese: Asèj [aˈzɛj]) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Turin.

Azeglio borders the following municipalities: Bollengo, Palazzo Canavese, Piverone, Albiano d'Ivrea, Viverone, Caravino, Settimo Rottaro, and Borgo d'Ale.[3]
Main sights
editIt is home to one or more prehistoric pile dwellings (or stilt house) settlements that are part of the Prehistoric pile dwellings around the Alps UNESCO World Heritage Site.[4]
Main sights also include Azeglio Castle, located on a hilltop in the centre of the village.[5]
