The 2025–26 Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball team represented Marquette University during the 2025–26 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Golden Eagles, led by fifth-year head coach Shaka Smart, played their home games at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a member of the Big East Conference.

Previous season
editThe Golden Eagles finished the 2024–25 season 23–11, 13–7 in Big East play to finish in tie for fourth place. As a No. 5 seed in the Big East tournament they defeated Xavier in the quarterfinals before falling to St. John's in the semifinals. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 7 seed in the South region, where they were defeated in the first round by New Mexico.[1]
