It was the fourth edition of this discipline. Japan's Takahiro Kawaguchi was the reigning champion, but was no longer eligible to participate in the tournament.[ 1] Austria's Moritz Freitag won the title, defeating Rafael Pagonis from Greece 4–6, 6–1, [10–4] in the final.[ 2]
